Global Till Cash Drawer. 

This is a Global Till drawer, meaning employees can share one drawer to contain all that money you exchange between customers. 

How to decide which cash drawer is for you:

Do my employees share a single cash drawer?

If so, this means you run a Global Till. If your store shares a single cash drawer, you will want to order the Multi-Pro JD230-BL1816 and the CD101-A cable to connect your cash drawer to your receipt printer.

Multi-Pro JD320-BL1816 (-C for extra coin storage) (USED WITH GLOBAL TILLS - Also requires a CD-101A cable). This is best for GLOBAL TILLS which are tills that are SHARED by ALL USERS.

Cable is not included with the purchase of the cash drawer. Cable will automatically be added to the cart. Make sure the number of cash drawers equals the number of cables. 

The Multi-Pro interface works directly with Star Receipt Printers and allows the cash drawer to open when a receipt is printed. To use this function, a CD101-A cable is required (this is purchased separately). This is best for GLOBAL TILLS which are tills that are SHARED by ALL USERS.

Product Description

Durability: This commercial POS heavy-duty cash drawer is made of steel for ultimate strength and durability. The cash drawer has steel ball bearing slides to allow the drawer to slide open and shut for high volume use. The Series 4000 cash drawer is tested to withstand at least 4 million transactions. Lifetime Limited Warranty available upon online registration.

Interface: Equipped with APG’s MultiPRO 320 interface that is compatible with all 24V printer driven POS systems. Please note a connection cable is included with purchase.

Design: The drawer comes with a plastic till that has five bill compartments and five coin compartments for organizing money by denomination. Finished with a media slot for inserting checks, credit card receipts, or other transaction papers. Compatible with multiple forms of currencies.

Lock System: A latch releases the drawer when opened and keeps it securely shut when closed. The four-function lock on the drawer has functions to lock the drawer closed, lock open, open electronically using a connected host device, or open manually.

Dimensions: The APG JD320-1-BL1816-C Series 4000 Heavy-Duty Stainless- Steel Front Cash Drawer measures at 18.0" x 16.7" x 4.2". The drawer is large enough to be placed on a counter and can support a monitor, tablet receipt printer, or other point-of-sale devices.
